Philip W. Bennett earned a PhD from New York University in the early 1970s and was a professor of philosophy for many years after. He is now retired from academic life. Bennett has spoken on aspects of Reich's work both nationally and internationally, and has published numerous articles. He is now finishing a book on Reich's social and political work entitled From Communism to Work Democracy.
